I am hungry!
I'm hungry!!!
I am very happy to say that Dylan has been eating more and more. I am happier to say that he has a daily schedule and routines. He gets up around 5 to 6 Am to eat, then he likes to play for an hour or so. Then he goes back to sleep and wakes up around 8 and eats his first solids between 8 and 9 AM and drinks 4-5 oz of milk. He would play for another 2 hours and take an hour nap. He wakes up at noon and eats his second meal of solids and another bottle of formula. He would play for another 2 hours and takes another 30 min. nap. Around 3 PM, it is time for another meal then more play time. He takes his last nap around 5 pm and drinks a bottle of formula around 6. He enjoys some more play time for about two hours and I give him a bath around 7 PM. After the bath, he starts to be more mellow and I read him a bedtime story and around 8 to 8:30 PM he drinks his last meal.. He is usually asleep by 9 PM at the latest.

Watching some TV
I was gone for two days to SF for my dear friend Madelyn's wedding and Joe sent me this picture of Dylan.
Mommy come home!
Smiling for mommy. Mommy come home.
Dylan had lots of fun hanging out with appa all weekend long. He likes to play standing up and he started to take steps holding on to his toys and furnitures. He still has to master cruising and falling down gracefully back on to the ground.

Teaching Dylan Korean with flash cards.
I got inspired by "your baby can read" and decided make some flash cards for Dylan. I don't expect Dylan to say or learn those words right away but I want to help him stimulate his brain with words and pictures. I had a lot of fun laminating the flash cards. =)

Eggyolk is messy!
Dylan has been trying lots of different solid food. Today was his first time eating eggyolk and he LOVED it! (not as much as an avocado though) I diluted the eggyolk with his formula and he ate a one whole eggyolk. It sure was messy though! I can't wait for next week when Dylan turns 7 months old and I can finally give him some meat and tofu. I plan on making chicken breast mixed in with rice and cabbage. I know it sounds weird but supposedly those food combination is good together according to a baby food cookbook I have. Stay tuned until the next food adventure of Dylan!

Cajun plate
Last dinner in little rock before we head back home to SD. We had pretty much ate most of our food and i had to think of a creative way to come up with a dinner. Somehow, I made cajun style dinner with all the leftovers in the refrigerator. Unknowingly and unintentionally, I made cajun dinner. It reminded me of time when we visited New Orleans.

Spicy corn, rice, baked zuccini, cajun spiced shrimp, italian sausage, hot links & balsamic butter sauce tilapia fish.

Day out in LR
Our apartment is in the heart of downtown Little Rock and Joe works just 3 blocks away. The sky looked very clear this morning so we decided to take a stroll around downtown and go out for lunch.

First, we stopped by the dry cleaners to pick up some dry cleaning. Dylan likes to be carried in his carrier.
