8 Month old Dylan playing Patty Cakes!

My mom has been very persistent in teaching Dylan how to clap his hands. About two weeks ago, Dylan started playing patty cakes. He claps his hands together randomly whenever he's happy or excited.

8 Month old!

Dylan is 8 month old today! The past eight months with Dylan has been so wonderful. He is such a fun loving and active kid. He loves playing peekaboo and loves to crawl around everywhere. He can cruise around holding onto the furnitures. He would especially cruise faster if you motivate him with a toy. His favorite food is egg yolk, peas and banana and he doesn't like broccolis anymore. He never liked apples. He tried beef for the first time and he loved it. He loves playing with his Appa; he cracks up every time Joe plays with him. He absolutely HATES car rides. I wish he sleeps longer during the night and takes longer naps. Dylan is a morning person and he babbles A LOT especially in the morning. Whenever he wants to be held he comes over to me and opens up his arm and lets me know he wants to be held.

Finally! Dylan is starting to gain weight. Look at his little belly.

Im full!

I was very worried about Dylan not gaining weight for the past couple of months. He was gaining less than a pound each month. He was getting taller but he wasn't gaining any weight and looked skinner every month. I started to give him more proteins and solids at each meal and in less than two weeks, he has gained a whole pound! He is still on the low end of the scale in weight but I am happy that he is starting to look chubbier. I made him beef, tofu and rice soup the other day and he loved it!
