Dylan is now 6 and 1/2 month old. He is growing up so fast before my eyes. He does new things every week and it has been such a joy to watch him grow and learn. He can do the following- he can go from tummy position to sitting position and stay seated without support and stands up holding on to me or things like a couch and crib railing, crawl on fours. He can pick up little objects or plays with buttons on my clothes. Not only is he hitting his milestones physically but socially and mentally- I actually noticed this when he was 5 month old, he started getting mad and object when I took his toys away when he was playing. Dylan LOVES to play. I mean, he LOVES to play more than anything- He'd rather play than eat or sleep. One day he crawled over to a TV stand and knocked over all the dvds out of the shelve so I started putting pillows to cover up the tv stand. It wasn't until last week when he realized that the dvds are behind the pillow and knocked over the pillow to get to the dvds. This boy needs supervision at ALL times! OH, and he can say "Umma" and "Appa". He usually calls me when he is awake from a nap and wants to be held. Dylan is falling madly in LOVE with me. He looks for me when i am not in a room and looks so delighted to see me when I return. I am so proud of Dylan for just for being himself. I just wish he drinks more milk!
